Over the years this is one of the most common phrases I have heard about drawing. It seems many people think of it like a magical "gift" that you have to be born with; like a superpower.
Now, as an artist, I’d like to say this is absolutely right. But it isn’t. It’s a huge misconception and it is the biggest obstacle to enjoying drawing. So that’s the aim of these lessons; enjoying drawing.
They will give beginners a solid foundation of skills and the confidence to begin drawing for pleasure. For those who already draw, they will help strengthen and refine your skills.
I have worked as an animator, art teacher, artist and illustrator for more years than I can add up on my fingers AND toes....
