Personal Tutoring

I have been working as a professional artist for over 10 years, specialising in mixed media landscape but including a much broader range of media and subject. My work has been featured in galleries nationwide.

I am a tutor at the prestigious St Ives School of Painting and I also taught art for 16 years as the head of art in secondary school. I can teach a broad range of media and art practices; drawing, painting, photography, graphics, animation, illustration and art history

I have provided personal tuition for a broad range of students of different ages and motivations; GCSE and Alevel art qualifications, preparation for university application, personal growth, a change in career or just as a new hobby.

Tutoring can be in person, in my studio or in your home. Or it can be online.

I ask that students book a block of 5 one hour sessions but this can be tailored to suit your needs.

As a registered teacher I have an up to date DBS certificate.

I am also happy to provide references and testimonials from current and past students.

I ask that you pay for a block of 5 one hour sessions at a time and suggest one a week but this can be adapted to meet your requirements.

A standard block of one hour sessions starts at £125 

A block of sessions for qualifications or university portfolios starts at £225
